Want to keep learning new outdoor skills? We’ve got a new lineup of webinars this spring.

Learn more about fly fishing for steelhead at noon Wednesday, March 23. James Burnham, R3 coordinator, and Aaron Gerlovich, a director with Minnesota Steelheader, will talk about the thrill of fly fishing for steelhead in the springtime surrounded by some of the state’s most rugged and picturesque scenery – Minnesota’s north shore of Lake Superior.

A week later, get to the bottom of how to fish for rough fish at noon Wednesday, March 30. Ever wondered about all those fish that have been called “rough fish” and what is their story? Join the founder of roughfish.com, Corey Geving, to learn about rough fish, why to fish for them and how to catch them.

Other webinar fishing topics later this spring will delve into fishing lures, walleye fishing and youth fishing leagues. The webinars are free, but participants must pre-register. Can’t make it? We post recordings of the webinars on the DNR website.
