February is Utah’s peak month for seeing bald eagles! Join us in celebrating these iconic birds at viewing events throughout the state. Learn more about these free events:
Southern Utah, Feb. 5: Rush Lake, Cedar City
Central Utah, Feb. 5: Fountain Green Fish Hatchery
Northeastern Utah, Feb. 19: Ouray National Wildlife Refuge, Randlett Division personnel will be there to answer your questions and help you spot bald eagles. We’ll have some spotting scopes available, but you should bring your own binoculars if you have them. Free 2022 bald eagle pins will be available while supplies last! While registration is not required to attend, we encourage you to register in advance so that you’ll receive an email alert if an event is cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions.
