BUT, “We the People” Need to Make Our Voice Heard!In a meeting attended by over 100 people last night that was sponsored by Mike and Valinda Rowe of IllinoisCarry.com, Sheriff Hires and States Attorney Vaughn vowed to protect Richland County’s law abiding citizens from felony charges and gun confiscation that would result if bills that are in process are passed by our Chicago politicians.State Representative Darren Bailey and Senator Dale Righter were also guest speakers at the Town Meeting last evening to share their passion for protecting the citizens of Southern Illinois from the horrendous bills that are being brought forward by Chicago power and gun grabbing politicians that believe southern Illinois is Kankakee. Both expressed their awe at the ludicrous restrictions that are pushed in order to squelch our Constitutional rights to privacy, right to possess firearms, and right to protect ourselves and our families.As a result of some bills already signed by our new Governor, 85 gun dealers have already closed their doors this year. The question was asked, “Where do our private records of those gun sales go when the dealer shuts down?” The answer is scary. They go to the ATF.
