The gun control group Alliance for Gun Responsibility plans to turn in about 360,000 signatures this week to get its proposed firearms-safety initiative on Washington’s November election ballot, a spokesman said Monday. But gun-rights supporters have asked the Washington state Supreme Court to invalidate Initiative 1639 petitions, which they say were unlawfully formatted.
