Last night, the General Assembly adjourned sine die from its 2022 session. Prior to the start of session, Governor Brian Kemp already announced his support for constitutional carry. The General Assembly then came through by passing constitutional carry on April 1st. Once Gov. Kemp signs it into law, Georgia will become the 25th constitutional carry state, meaning half of the 50 states will recognize the right of a law-abiding adult who is legally allowed to carry a concealed firearm, to do so without first having to obtain government permission.
