End Gun Violence Michigan will promote numerous gun controls in the next two years
Lansing, MI – A group named End Gun Violence Michigan has formed an exploratory committee to promote various forms of gun control, aiming to get them on the ballot during the 2024 election cycle.“This is just another way to erode the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Michiganders, while also funneling out of state money into our state,” said Brenden Boudreau, Executive Director for Great Lakes Gun Rights. “It’s laughable that this group claims to be fighting against the “powerful” gun lobby when the gun control lobby consistently outspends Second Amendment groups in these ballot measure fights.”During the 2016 election, gun control advocates outspent gun rights organizations nearly 6 to 1 in a ballot measure fight in Maine, with Everytown for Gun Safety, an entity that receives heavy funding from Michael Bloomberg, providing nearly $6 million dollars of the total dollars raised by the proponents of the ballot measure.According to a report from
