Birchwood Casey Joins Official Supporters of NSSF’s First Shots Program
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Birchwood Casey has agreed to be the official target sponsor for the organization’s First Shots[1]® program. Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Birchwood Casey[2] is a leading manufacturer of firearms cleaning products, targets and other shooting and range accessories.
“Supporting the First Shots program is second-nature to us, as it starts at the core of who we are as a company and employees,” said Todd Binsfeld, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Birchwood Casey. “We hope our support can start and grow the shooting sports for many individuals for years to come by providing products to enhance the enjoyment of the shooting sports.”
“We are very pleased to have Birchwood Casey on board with our First Shots program,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Director, Range Services. “Connecting new shooters with the products that make their time on the range more enjoyable is important in taking them from first-time shooter to regular shooter, and we think everyone will appreciate Birchwood’s commitment to that.”
The NSSF First Shots program recognizes that the biggest challenge for new shooters is simply getting started. First Shots eases that challenge by providing basic safety instruction and a fun, memorable introduction to target shooting. More than 43 percent of First Shots participants are converted to target shooting enthusiasts who individually spend on average more than $600 annually on their shooting sports endeavors. Birchwood Casey will be providing its popular Shoot-N-C Targets[3], which reveal a bright-colored dot when
