Paul Chartier, Tom Gresham Join NSSF’s Board of Governors
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Paul Chartier and Tom Gresham and have been appointed to its Board of Governors.
Chartier is the current Executive Vice President and CFO of O.F. Mossberg & Sons[1], an American manufacturer of firearms headquartered in North Haven, Connecticut. He first joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer in April 2000. As part of Mossberg’s executive management team in his present role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, supply chain, product development, sales and marketing. His professional background prior to joining Mossberg includes numerous years working in a public accounting firm in both tax and audit capacities. He will be replacing Joe Bartozzi, who vacated his position on the board after being named NSSF President in September 2018.
Gresham is a book author, magazine editor and writer, a television host, director and creator and online video producer. His weekly national radio talk show, “Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk[2],” is heard by millions throughout the U.S. and Canada, and he is the creator of Gun Talk Media[3], which produces a variety of television and online video series, as well as the smartphone app GunDealio[4]. Gresham was named the 2017 Gun Rights Defender of The Year by the Citizen’s Committee for the Right To Keep and Bear Arms, and he was awarded NSSF’s Ken Sedlecky Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. He replaces Board Member Russ Thurman, who is retiring after a long career as Publisher of FMG Publications[5].
