NSSF Opens Registration for 2018 CMO Summit
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2018 CMO Summit[1]. The event will take place September 18-19 at the Ponte Verde Inn and Club in Ponte Verde Beach, Florida.
Following on the success of its first CMO Summit in 2017, the 2018 forum will highlight real-time data mining, trends in digital marketing, the opportunities and pitfalls within social media and the divergent pathways media consumption is taking. The conference features a number of highly regarded speakers, including Bonnier Lifestyle Group’s Gregory Gatto, best-selling authors Jon Gordon and Jack Uldrich and ShopperBridge.com co-founder Beth Gregg.
“Our CMO Summit is where innovation meets inspiration by bringing renowned subject matter experts and industry marketing professionals together in one place to exchange ideas and learn about current trends in consumer marketing,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer. “This is one of our premier networking and education events. The list of attendees reads like a who’s who, and the peer-to-peer learning is second to none. ”
In addition to the main conference, this year a special Research Track will be hosted post-conference. Taking place throughout the Wednesday afternoon following the close of the Summit, the Research Track will begin with a working lunch, followed by interactive discussions on customer engagement, artificial intelligence and chatbot utilization, multi-generational buying intel and fresh ways of discovering what drives today’s buyer.
All marketing, public relations and advertising professionals in or working with the firearms industry are strongly encouraged to attend this year’s CMO Summit.
