NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF[1]®), the firearm industry trade association, is pleased to announce that it has awarded Range 129 its highest Five-Star rating[2] for range excellence.
Located in Absecon, New Jersey, on the coast in the southern portion of the state in Atlantic County and a short drive from the busy hubs of Atlantic City, Ocean City, Sea Isle City and Cape May, Range 129[3] is both a gathering spot for area residents and a hotspot for tourists looking for excitement beyond the gambling tables and beaches. Range 129 boasts a number of admirable features. A generous 20 pistol lanes divided across two bays extend to 25 yards and an advanced target setting/retrieval system that operates via touchscreen control. The nine-lane rifle range utilizes the same target system, extends to 100 yards and can handle centerfire cartridges up to .50 BMG. State-of-the-art ventilation systems complement both in keeping patrons’ healthy and comfortable. A team of talented gunsmiths and a full calendar of specialty courses and competitive league shoots add to this facility’s well-roundedness.
