NRA Sponsors 2018 Sportsman’s Team Challenge
FAIRFAX, Va. -(Ammoland.com)- This weekend the Bass Pro Shops Academy in Ridgedale, Missouri, will host two exciting events.
As competitors and spectators gather for the 2018 Sportsman’s Team Challenge (STC) presented by Bass Pro Shops, the National Rifle Association Membership division will also be looking for a win and proudly supporting the match as a Gold Level sponsor.
From July 19-21, teams of two or three shooters will compete in pistol, rifle, combo, and three different shotgun courses of fire at the STC. The three-day event is a family-friendly celebration of community and teamwork, with shooters as young as eight years old welcomed to compete in the Sub-Junior and Junior divisions. Colorful reactive targets and visible countdown times make this multi-discipline competition especially competitor and spectator friendly. For everyone from new shooters to pros like 18-time NRA Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Champion Doug Koenig—now in his third year at the helm of the STC—it is a match not to be missed!
NRA Membership will be on site throughout the event to share the experience with attendees and to celebrate the closing weekend of the inaugural NRA 100K Challenge 100-day membership drive. With more than 90,000* sign-ups already, NRA is well on its way to reaching a total of 100,000 new members by the drive’s conclusion on July 22. And the momentum won’t stop there. At the STC, NRA Membership will also focus on sharing how 100K Challenge efforts can be continued through industry initiatives known as the NRA Industry Ally Program.
The NRA 100K Challenge was born to harness the incredible power of individual voices joining together to make an impact. Reaching the 100K goal will make the NRA 100,000 members stronger going into
