Civilian Marksmanship Program's Kongsberg Target SystemCAMP PERRY, Ohio – -(Ammoland.com)- The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), in collaboration with the Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association (ORPA), will be hosting a weekend of Highpower Rifle Matches in June.
Competition will begin on Saturday, June 23, 2018, with a CMP Cup Series 800 Aggregate event, followed immediately by an EIC (Excellence-In-Competition) match. Firing will begin at 7:00 a.m., with all competition being fired upon CMP’s traveling highpower electronic targets on Viale Range at Camp Perry. The ORPA rifle event will follow on Sunday, June 24, at 8:00 a.m.
Both the 800 Agg and the EIC matches will be presquadded and count towards CMP Classification. Competitors may fire either a Match or Service rifle. Entry fee for the 800 Agg. is $40 for adults and $30 for juniors, while fees for the EIC match are $35 for adults and $25 for juniors. The matches will follow CMP Cup and EIC competition rules, respectively.
Entry fees for the ORPA event will be $70, and competitors must be an active member of the association and an Ohio resident. The ORPA event will be squadded on a first-come basis and will count towards NRA classification, using NRA High Power Rifle Rules.
