Founded by Blake Egan, Podium LLC was formed to help bring air gun shooters pellets and equipment that would help them perform at a higher level. A former competitive archer, Egan and the team at Podium are passionate about the Olympics and competitive shooting sports. His presence in Colorado Springs and proximity to the Olympic Training Center creates a synergy in helping the USA Shooting Team athletes achieve greatness.
“I’m enthusiastic about extending this strong, winning partnership,” Egan said. “I believe in USA Shooting and its athletes; they deserve the very best, and we are committed to continuing to give them our very best—in every arena—to help continue putting U.S. athletes on the podium for years to come.”
“Podium’s commitment to USA Shooting’s mission is unquestioned and that really comes through with their agreement to increase their level of support over the next four years,” said Kevin Neuendorf, USA Shooting’s Director of Marketing Communications. “We’ve watched Blake turn a vision into reality as he’s grown his business using ambition, grit and resolve. We’re excited to see what Podium achievements we can achieve together these next four years.”
Podium pellet inventory currently includes the world’s top performing pellets including JSB[3], Qiang Yuan[4] and RWS[5]. New to Egan’s business inventory is the acquisition of Vogel USA, Vogel USA[6] which now allows Podium to make their own pellets using the same type of care and precision Egan has used to grow his business from the ground up.
“Vogel is excited to be manufacturing U.S. made airgun ammunition and we look forward to bringing the industry the very best,” Egan added.
Podium supplied the pellets that Ginny Thrasher (Springfield, Virginia) and McKenna Dahl (Arlington, Washington) used to climb onto the podium at the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Egan’s business model also incorporates hiring the very best competitive shooters throughout the world to serve as coaches and instructors. Three-time Olympian Matt Emmons (Browns Mill, New Jersey) has served as a Podium coach previously, and
