Phoenix, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, the industry leader in precision-driven custom fiberglass stocks, and Mc3 Stocks are pleased to support the AxisWorks Long-Range Challenge to be held on February 15-17 at the Big Sandy Range located between Wikieup and Kingman, Arizona.
The AxisWorks Long-Range Challenge is the first of the 17 National Rifle League sanctioned shooting events to be held in 2019. This is a 200-round event featuring a mix of positional and prone/modified prone stages with distances ranging from 100 to 1200 yards. Ten stages will be held on Saturday and Sunday, followed by an awards ceremony Sunday evening.
McMillan stocks have long been the choice platform for competitive long-distance shooters, many of whom participate in NRL matches across the country. The company is especially excited to bring its new A-10 stock into the long-range category this year as it addresses the needs of youth and women shooters. The A-10 is designed specifically for smaller-stature shooters with its thinner forearm, vertical grip positioned closer to the trigger, and grip shelf. The adjustable buttstock and cheek riser are perfect for accommodating younger shooters, allowing the stock to “grow” along with them.
Also new for this year is the Mc3, an advanced polymer stock that delivers a stronger, stiffer, solid-molded platform unlike conventional “hollow” synthetic stocks. Offering many of the same features as are found on McMillan's popular A5 stock, the Mc3 series stocks provide a precision rifle foundation for long-range competition shooting and hunting.
McMillan and Mc3 would like to thank all the volunteers and range officers who make this year's NRL events possible and appreciate their time and hard work. For more information on the AxisWorks Long-Range Challenge, visit the event page.
