Newington, N.H. – -(AmmoLand.com)- SIG SAUER Inc., is pleased to announce Team SIG Captain Max Michel and Team SIG professional shooter Lena Miculek delivered history-making performances at the 2018 USPSA Nationals, in the 2018 SIG SAUER Carry Optics National Championship, held October 20th – 28th at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, Florida. The 2018 SIG SAUER Optics National Championship had 415 individuals competing through 23 stages in the Carry Optics, Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC), and Open divisions.
Team SIG Captain Max Michel shot his way through seven stage wins to become the USPSA National Carry-Optics Champion in the SIG SAUER Carry Optics Nationals using his P320X5, ROMEO1 sight, and SIG SAUER Match Elite Pistol Competition Ammunition. This is Max’s third consecutive Carry Optics title at the USPSA Nationals.
“Going into this match my goal was to keep SIG on top by defending my title in Carry Optics. Team SIG shooter Lena Miculek took the High Lady title in the SIG SAUER Optics Nationals in the PCC Division with a fourth-place finish overall among all PCC competitors. She used her SIG SAUER MPX, ROMEO3 sight, and SIG SAUER Match Elite
