FAIRFAX, Va. -(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle Association’s Competitive Shooting Division is proud to announce the schedule of NRA National Matches for 2019. The legacy of NRA competitive shooting began more than century ago with the Creedmoor Matches at Sea Girt, New Jersey, growing into a spring and summer filled with annual traditions and showcases of exemplary civilian and military marksmanship that continues to this day.
The 2019 season begins with the NRA Intercollegiate Pistol and Rifle Club Championships at Fort Benning, Georgia, in late March, followed by collegiate shotgun marksmanship at the NCAA Clay Target Championships in Texas. May brings the return of the legendary NRA Bianchi Cup to Hallsville, Missouri, coming of its 40th anniversary earlier this year.
The NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico, hosts the Silhouette Championships in June and July, followed by the timeless NRA National Pistol Championships at historic Camp Perry, Ohio, the NRA Smallbore Championships in Bristol, Indiana, and the NRA High Power Matches at Indiana’s Camp Atterbury. The 2019 season wraps up with the dynamic NRA World Shooting Championship in Glengary, West Virginia, in late September.
