Yorba Linda, CA – -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced today its partnership with Border War Rifle Series (BWRS).

Since BWRS inception in 2017, the 1-day precision rifle matches have seen interest from states outside its immediate area to participate in the series. With more regions wishing to participate, BWRS has partnered with National Rifle League as the National-level organizing body, to oversee and assist with promotion, memberships, and score tracking.

“The strategic partnership between the NRL and BWRS just makes sense,” stated Travis Ishida, Founder of the NRL. “With the continued growth of precision rifle shooting and people’s busy schedules, it’s not always possible to travel to a 2-day national level match, however, people still want to shoot. The regional 1-day matches provide this opportunity to get more people out there competing. And with the resources that the NRL will bring to the table, this series will flourish.”

“We see this as a win-win for both organizations and shooters nationally. The BWRS 1-Day Match format has been proven and it works. The growth in 2 years has been significant; with the excitement of competitive, high round count, organized events within a geographical region, and a year ending regional championship comprised of multiple states, it continues to appeal to many levels of participants. This new strategic partnership comes in excellent timing to accommodate the growth and is to yield a superior level of events being introduced to new and intermediate shooters,” stated Jim See, BWRS Regional Match Director

“We look forward to what the future holds for BWRS
