Greeley, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- Kahr Firearms Group, a leader in innovative firearms design and manufacturing, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the NRA World Shooting Championship in Glengary, WV from Sep 20-22.
Kahr Firearms Group is a Gold Sponsor for the event, which will be held at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, WV. The NRA World Shooting Championship brings together the best shooters in the world to compete in pistol, rifle, shotgun and combined firearm sports. At the end of the event, the top shooter will be crowned “World Shooting Champion.”
The competition will have both a Professional and Amateur Division, and offers $250,000 in cash and prizes. The cash prizes will be awarded to first through third place winners and High Lady and High Amateur Junior. There will be separate prize tables for Professional and Amateur winners.
In addition to its Gold Sponsorship of the event, Kahr Firearms Group is sponsoring two shooters in the 2018 World Shooting Championship: Brett Pikula and John “TIG” Tiegen. Pikula is currently the Shop Supervisor for Magnum Research and will be competing in the Amateur Division. Tiegen, a brand ambassador for Kahr Firearms Group, American hero and survivor of the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, will be competing in the Professional Division.
The competition has twelve challenging stages for competitors to prove their shooting skills. Participants will have the opportunity to compete among talented shooters from around the world using provided firearms, equipment and ammunition to find out who is the ultimate champion.
